Each of these types of ‘meditation’ listed above have been shown to have short and long-term health benefits, when practiced for 10 minutes in the middle of the day. These include improving memory, decreasing blood pressure and decreasing muscle tightness. There are more studies which show other health benefits.
I usually opt for the 10-minute nap in the middle of the day. It keeps me sharp, makes me less irritable, and I sleep better at night.
You can Google any of the remaining items in the list for more information on them, and learn more about their effects. We’re all different, so find the one that works best for you. There is no single easier way to enhance your health in 10 minutes. It takes longer than that to chew the 7 helpings of vegetables you eat every day.
Take 10 minutes for yourself every day, and ‘meditate’.

The staff at Dr. Glesener's office is brilliant; not just in knowledge, but in how they care and treat their patients.
